I don't know why Carl saw the behavior he described. I can't diagnose it without more information, and Carl and I communicating here for GedSite support is a bad idea. I don't monitor the FH Forum for GedSite issues and I've had my wrist slapped a few times already for GedSite-support related communication. Carl should contact me directly.
I have some automated tests that run whenever I update GedSite including several tests of the Witness() function. Those tests are successful. Of course, there's always the possibility of a bug.
