importing Census images from MyHeritage
I am currently subscribed to MyHeritage, and I would like to download the images of the 1911 Census and add them to my FH project. I have tried downloading the image to my computer but nothing happens. Is there a different way of adding the images to FH.

Re: importing Census images from MyHeritage
Please explain in more detail what you are doing and what is happening.
You must use the Source Citation Media tab to add an image to FH as a source document.
Similarly, in AS you must add the media image.
Are you saying the image is not even downloaded to your computer?twinkledays wrote: ↑02 Sep 2022 14:51I have tried downloading the image to my computer but nothing happens.
What method are you using at the moment?

Re: importing Census images from MyHeritage
I have saved the census to my family tree on MyHeritage and when I go to view the image i then pressed the download button. instead of download onto my computer it opens up in another page and says at the top https://api.findmypast.com/image/?uppid ... b20e350d29 so I am unable to work out how I can then save it to my FH family tree.
For census that I have downloaded from Ancsetry, I am using the programme Ancestral Source to add the image to FH. I able to do it that way because I have a copy on my computer. At he moment I don't seem to be able to get a copy from myheritage.

Re: importing Census images from MyHeritage
This sounds like a question for MyHeritage. Their user group is located at https://www.facebook.com/groups/myheritageusersgroup/.
Once you get the image downloaded it can be entered in AS in the same manner as the ones from Ancestry.com.

Your API FindMyPast URL has expired and is not a reliable way of posting screenshots.
See FHUG Knowledge Base Forum Usage Tips Attachments and Taking Screenshots.
