Exporting to Myheritage FT
hello,
i have tried it now for 5 times to make a export gedfile to FH
early i was using Familietree but it was not all wat i needed, when i imported it to FH it gave no problem,
but now i wanne see how alle show in myheritage and it give a problem
after the import , the Record id from FH begin with 88880001 (i don't have so much inviduals inside) but i was thinking no problem, this is only a numer.
(you see there a blue window from a person if it a man and orange when its a female and gray when not know. (See image)
but after the import to Myheritage it is the follow.
alle the new inviduals what i put in FH it import in Myheritage but the name from the person is not there, also all the rest of the persons information in de window the window is white en when i dubbel klik on the window i see all stand good.
if i close Myheritage en open again then all the person's with this problem are deleted..
is this something because of the number id ?
do somebody think this is a bug in Myheritage ?
can i simply renumber the Record id ? and if this go not good can i then revert a snapshot ?
thanks

Re: Exporting to Myheritage FT
How are you preparing the file for export? The plugin Export Gedcom File has an option to support exporting to MyHeritage, and no doubt the author will be along shortly with a lot of queries and detail.

Re: Exporting to Myheritage FT
It will help us if you can post a screenshot of the same problem person in FH and in MyHeritage showing the ID.
We need to see the Record Id and Sex of the person in FH so please show the All tab of Property Box.
How are you exporting the GEDCOM from FH?
Do you use Tools > Plugins > Export Gedcom File with Export Mode: (MYH) MyHeritage Family Tree ?
Do you use the File > Import/Export > Export > GEDCOM File... command ?
For me, the person in MyHeritage is gray if their Sex is not defined in FH.
I cannot reproduce the large Rec Id problem.

Re: Exporting to Myheritage FT
Here you see a example how its in Myheritage.
you see the window blank ((No Name) you see born data etc..
the next print is when i open the window and there you see the name.
the last print is when i search this name i cannot find it.
this happen to all the person's who have tho'se high record id''s
if i make a different to a lower numer this go good..
i see that there with this person there is no id number
sorry for the 3 post i hope it is a little more clear

Re: Exporting to Myheritage FT
Please post a screenshot of that same person in FH showing the All tab of Property Box.
I tried importing a GEDCOM with Record Id like 88880001 and MyHeritage was OK.
I notice in your screenshots that the MyHeritage ID: is missing.
Are any import Issues reported by MyHeritage?

Re: Exporting to Myheritage FT
I think I have found the problem, and it is to do with the Automated Record Id: MH:I12345
Those Automated Record Id were probably transferred from MyHeritage to FH in the past.
In MyHeritage you have set Tools > Options > General > Show IDs of elements in your Project = Show Permanent IDs
Any imported records from FH without Automated Record Id are initially shown with blank ID and gray colour.
Then when MyHeritage is closed and opened those records without Automated Record Id are deleted.
Change Tools > Options > General > Show IDs of elements in your Project to Show Consecutive IDs and all is OK.
You can now delete all the Automated Record Id in FH.

Re: Exporting to Myheritage FT
I do not know why it is not working
I have tried Import GEDCOM with Language = Dutch and it is OK.
How may Individual records in your Project?
Can you post a screenshot of FH File > File Statistics... please.
Can you try exporting the Family Historian Sample Project using the same method.
