I have noticed with my media photos that are linked to people the caption is written in the Link Note. Nothing is written in the Picture note. Because I have Use Link Note As Caption checked the photos have captions. But I would have thought in importing the caption would have gone into the Picture note field. Is it correct the way it is set up now?
Also, if I were to add a photo in FH would I caption the photo in the Link Note or the Picture note? I have looked at the help but it is unclear....

Re: Media captions - Link Note or picture note
The Link note is always the one which is used as the caption. (If you don't have Use Note as Caption checked the caption displayed in reports will be based on the title of the picture). This is so that if you have a group photo and use frame links to pick out images of individual people you can then have a different caption for each person. The main picture note is intended for information about the picture itself, such as where you found it, who took it, what the occasion was.
