My Heritage on line Gedcom
First let me say sorry if this subject has already been discussed. I have a My Heritage account and have exported a Gedcom file. When opening it with FH version 6.2.7 I do not get any photos. I have tried 'Tools\External File Links' which show all the missing files and the right url for them but 'Auto Repair' doesn't fix the problem. I do not use Family Tree Builder as whenever I have used it it has trashed my on line Tree. Has anyone any ideas how to retrieve my photos from my Gedcom please.

Re: My Heritage on line Gedcom
Welcome to the FHUG Ray.
Unfortunately, in common with most other web-based products, My Heritage does not provide any way of automatically downloading Media files to your PC. The FH Auto Repair Links button is only designed to work with local media files on the PC and will not handle those URL.
The advice in how_to:import_from_myheritage|> Import from MyHeritage (MYH) explains that Family Tree Builder is the only way to transfer media automatically in bulk. Sorry!
So the only option is to download them one by one by hand and link them into the FH Media records.
BTW: Attempts have been made to write a Plugin to download the media using the URL but without success.
