Updating TNG to the latest family tree data in FH

I hope this is the right place to put this if not please let me know.
My master database is FH but I am starting to use TNG Genealogist as the basis of a web site to get other members of my family interested and to be able to share information with them. I used Mike's excellent GEDCOM plugin and my first transfer from FH to TNG went well. I have a few image links to correct but I was very happy with the result. Since then I have been concentrating on creating some blog type articles about some of the family members to make it a bit more than a tree and doing this in spare time from work has meant quite a bit of time has passed. Now there have been quite a few additions and a few corrections to my FH database, this is the point of my question.
How do other users update their TNG database assuming that FH is their master? As far as I know, there is not any way to incrementally update it so my thought was to blow away the whole TNG database and reimport it from scratch. Is that what other users do or what is their workflow?
I am still very green with TNG but have not found a way to reset the database so I assume this would need to be done through MySQL. I am not experienced with MySQL but have used Informix in the past and just recently started using MS SQL server so hopefully dropping the contents is something that I could do but I wondered what experience others have and is there a much better workflow than doing this? I think I could create a new database and use that in TNG and then maybe drop the whole previous database?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Martyn
