* TMGv9 to FHv6- Bold Text

In a TMG v9 tag memo some of my text was in bold. Having imported my TMG data into FH v6 the same text in the Property Box Fact is not bold but appears with '[BOLD:]' before the text in question and '[:BOLD]' after the text. This tends to confuse the layout and the understanding of the text.
I cannot find any reference to this in 'Getting the most from Family Historian 6' by Simon Orde.
Can anyone please explain the reason for this. I don't have a lot of text affected by this so I could change it 'manually' if necessary but don't know how and don't want to foul up anything.

FH does NOT support any form of text formatting such as as bold, italic, etc.

TMG uses special textual codes to mark where such formatting starts and ends, e.g. [BOLD:] and [:BOLD].
What you are seeing is those text codes, as exported in the GEDCOM text fields.

That is discussed in the how_to:import_from_tmg|> Import from The Master Genealogist (TMG) under the how_to:import_from_tmg#correcting_problems|> Correcting Problems section that explains how to remove them. But if you only have a few, then just delete those fragments of text manually, in the same way you would edit any other text.
