Family Historian User Group

Hi all

I have the latest version of FH (6.2.5) and created a Descendant Outline report and the went to Save As PDF.


I get an error that simply states: An error occurred. Cannot Generate PDF file.

How would I troubleshoot this please?

PS - Just tried on my PC (previous was on laptop) and this one tells me 'PDF File Output is not enabled'
Edit - solved the 'PS' instance by following a FAQ to re-install novaPDF

If you are still having problems saving it's possible you are trying to save to a folder which does not exist or your user does not have permissions to, try change the save location to your desktop does that work?

With these errors (on both laptop and PC) you didn't even get that far. Just the error.

Re-installing the PDF printer in both cases has cured the issue, thanks to this page https://www.fhug.org.uk/wiki/doku.php?i ... ot_enabled
