I'm trying to export part of my family tree to another member of the family who has recently shown an interest, she has Roots Magic free edition just to start with, and I've managed to export part of my tree into this, the problem is that we're not seeing the photographs, census images etc. How can I get these to show?

The get the best outcome I suggest you use the Export Gedcom File Plugin with the (RMT) Roots Magic Tree option.
