Using FH 6.1.4, imported Gedcom 5.5 std from LegacyFT. Puzzled as to handling of media notes, when an individual has multiple media and notes. In the imaged example, in LegacyFT, both document/media had titles and notes associated with them. Yet one has the individual's name attached, and the next no name. The latter appears in link notes and can be modified, and haven't figured out how to modify the other.
Any help appreciated.

Re: Media Import from Legacy - Note Handling
In FH the Link/Note shows two data items.
1) The name of the record to which the Media record is linked.
2) The note text itself, which can be edited by opening the Link/Note box.
So in your example only the first Media record is linked to Johann.
It appears that those two Media records link to two different Media files even though they both have the same Title.
Did you see how_to:import_from_legacy|> Import from Legacy?

Re: Media Import from Legacy - Note Handling
So because the title is the same, they are handled differently? How would I edit the second note? I will review the knowledge base link. That could be an issue for me.
I skimmed through the recommended reading, and other topics there. I could have missed it, but I didn't see anything relative to media files, notes or titles. I also downloaded the UDF list plugin to see what results showed up and there are over 19000 items, a couple snapshots of which I included, so this looks like more issues to address.
I realize the complexity of such migration, but this is starting to look overwhelming. I followed the recommended settings on Legacy export.

Re: Media Import from Legacy - Note Handling
The Title does not impact how the Media is handled. It was just an observation that two records derived from Legacy had the same Title, but referenced different files, and had different Note text, and one was linked to Johann but other was not.
You edit the Note text the same way in both records by clicking on the [...] button at right-hand end of the box.
Most of what you need to learn about in FH is in the Book and Tutorials in the Documention topic.
The _UID UDF is mentioned in the KB Import from Legacy - they can all be deleted.
The _PREF UDF is probably identifying the preferred item when multiple instances exist but has no FH equivalent - so can probably all be deleted.
These are examples of the dialects of Gedcom that different products use (including FH). The tags starting with underscore are legitimate but often only mean anything to the product that produced them.
