* Media not showing up in the property box

I am new to using family historian 6, being a previous user of family tree maker. I successfully exported a gedcom file from ftm to fh6, and all seemed well until viewing the property box media tab, I noticed that the census media from ftm did not show up in there, but showed up when the view all media to the linked person was pressed on the media tab on the top toolbar. Is there a way to fix this so that all census media is shown in the property box

Unfortunately, FTM and FH, like many genealogy products, use slightly differing dialects of GEDCOM.

You will probably find lots of apparently missing data that FH interprets as UDF, but they can be fixed with Plugins.

Ancestry announced the demise of FTM with very little notice, and we are working on solutions, so maybe hold fire before finally migrating to FH until we have all the solutions in place.

In the mean time, since you have found all your Media records, if you use the Where Used Record Links Plugin on them it will shown where they appear in the Property Box, but many Citation Media are 'hidden' on the All tab, but appear OK in Reports.
