Sorry I'm really new to this. I have read several posts re migrating from FTM to FH 6 and I am, to say the least, totally bamboozled.
I am using Windows 10 and migrated my data via GEDCOM from FTM 2011 to FH 6. The Data seems fine to me but non of my photos or BDM, census records etc show up. I started to import my photos one by one from my computer and am impressed with the ease of working with FH but this is such a huge job, then there are the missing merged census etc - will I need to re do them all?
Again sorry but I just cant my head around all the different 'fixes'

Re: New to FH media from FTM 2011 failed
Welcome to the FHUG.
First of all don't panic, and don't start making corrections that are probably not needed.
If you have never migrated from one genealogy product to another then it will be a novel and challenging experience whatever product you choose.
Your Media photos & documents will almost certainly be there, but the way FTM 2012 exports them makes them a little awkward to find in FH V6.
To allay your fears, open the Records Window by clicking the icon below magnifying glass on left.
Then click the Media tab to list all the Media records.
(Alternatively, use View > Record Lists > Media command.)
Double-click on a few records to see each linked Media file image.
If they look like they are all present and correct, we can investigate the next steps.
I know some of the 'fixes' look confusing, and we are working on making them simpler, but there was not much lead time in the Ancestry announcement of the demise of FTM.
BTW: See how_to:key_features_for_newcomers|> Key Features for Newcomers for some basic details.
