I am still unsure if I have the correct procedure for exporting FH6 to TNG on a web site.
The FHUG discussion in April Export from FH6 and Import to TNG (12513) and others on TNG forums have provided great details. So have I got the steps right?
Here is a screenshot of my website: petespages is an empty folder, TNG installation files are in the TNG Genealogy v10.0.3 folder.
• Export FH6 using Export Plugin to new named folder. View exported file in FH and run Convert File Links Plugin.
• Upload .ged GEDCOM file and linked media files now in new named folder from pc using FTP.
• Install the uploaded GEDCOM and media to empty folder on website petespages.
• Go to TNG Admin and import the .ged GEDCOM file from petespages to the empty TNG GEDCOM file gedcom_ph
• Transfer (is this straightforward?) the media files in batches (photos, documents etc separately) from petespages to their respective TNG folders (photos or documents). The TNG media folders below are the basic default install with no links. TNG will recognise and retain the links from the latest FH Plugin.
So am I close?
Sorry for the plodding- but I’m new to web sites - messed it up last time.
Happy new year
Peter

Re: Puzzled-Initial FH6 EXPORT & TNG IMPORT
I think you have misunderstood some of the steps.
Firstly, use the Export Gedcom File Plugin (not the File > Export > GEDCOM File command).
By default this will export to the Project's ...\Public\Export\ folder.
Do not use the Convert File Links Plugin as the former Plugin handles Media.
See the Plugin Help & Advice pages, but especially plugins:help:export_gedcom_file:tng_the_next_generation|> Export Gedcom File ~ (TNG) The Next Generation that has details about configuring TNG.
In particular all five media Paths and Folders must be media.
