Perhaps I am missing something here, but after a Gedcom import (from TMG 9.05) I can see Witnesses recorded against the Marriage Fact (for the Bride and Groom) but I see nothing (in terms of a Fact or similar) against the Witness in FH (and thus nothing in reports for that individual).

In TMG, and after a Witness was recorded, the individual record of the witness included a Tag "Witness" which was included on any reports I ran for that individual. I was rather hoping for something similar in FH.

Have you tried using the direct input from TMG method?

Yes Mike I have tried both imports but have found that the direct import does not bring in the Source Elements on a Source record (viz. it only brings in the Source Name / Abbreviation). Most of my Source records have Source Element fields containing important data, so once I found this problem I concentrated on the Gedcom import

OK Brent, Calico Pie are, I believe, working on the reported TMG direct import problems.
Those corrections should become available, I would hope, in a free update before too long.
You may just have to be a little patient.

If desparate, in the meantime, try importing by both methods, and Merge the two resulting Projects.
This should give you the best of both methods, i.e. the Witness details via direct import, plus Source details via Gedcom.

Thanks Mike - I'm happy to wait as it gives me time to "play" with FH and determine how I ultimately want my data stored / displayed / reported, and identify changes to data I can make in TMG that would help meet those needs once the data is imported to FH.
