Gedcom tag labels

I noted that import of TMG census events works better if you first set all the census-related event tags in TMG (Census 1851, Census 1861, etc.) with the Gedcom label CENS.

I've got loads of tags in my TMG project where the the Gedcom label is EVEN with a TYPE code aligned to the event label. I figure these will transfer to FH6 as custom event records which I will then have to go through and align to the appropriate FH6 standard record to get the right sentence structure.

Is there an easy way to set the Gedcom label in TMG to maximise use of FH6 standard events (I'm probably not using correct FH6 terminology but hopefully this makes sense).

TIA ... John.

The last part of this is old now but might help (by jimlad68 ยป 30 Jul 2014 16:130):

- Yes, EVEN is very useful and I found transfers well to FH.
You may need to experiment to see how things move accross.
There is a plugin in FH"change any fact tag" that can then change it to what you want.

If you know what GEDCOM tag you want, then why not set it in TNG before migrating to FH?
