I have noticed that sources attached to Notes in TMG will not transfer to FH correctly?
I have several Notes (tags in TMG) attached to individuals and most have a source but even though the note imports to FH the source reference is missing.
The source is listed in View/Standard Queries/Source Records

Is this just on a "Note" tag, and do other EVENt tags with sources import OK? From my past experience, not just with TMG, although a Note tag seems like an EVENt, it behaves differently on Gedcom export (I don't know if you are doing direct or Gedcom import to FH), in consequence when I used TMG I did not use the Standard Note, but created various EVEN "note", like tags (see below).

Barring other possible explanations:
One possibility is to try and create a new tag in TMG, (not sure if this is needed for direct import: on the "Other tab" set the GEDCOM export as 1EVEN+2TYPEetc).
Then convert an offending Note with TMG Utility (backup or copy your database as usual), check the source is still OK in TMG, and then see if the source is still lost on import to FH.

Can you also confirm you are using direct import from the TMG project database.

Where exactly are you looking?
Have you enabled the yellow Sources pane in the Property Box, which shows the Source Citations?

Is what you call Notes simply another TMG Tag Type listed in the Tag Type List window?
The TMG Project I imported, correctly cited all the Sources against all the Tags i.e. FH Facts (Events/Attributes).

Since the Source Records exist then try the following:
Open the Records Window using View > Records Window or click the record sheets icon on the left.
Select the Sources tab and select any Source Record that should be cited by a Notes Tag / Fact.
Use View > Record Links and all records that cite that Source will be listed.
Select one and click the Go To button, and then double-click the record to open its Property Box.
You must then search down its Facts tab to find the Source Citation.
But remember to click the yellow scroll icon Show Sources top right to open the yellow Sources pane.

Another approach is to download & install the Plugin List All Citations for a Source via Tools > Plugins > Plugin Store.
Then run this Plugin and choose a Source Record to obtain a detailed list of all its Citations.

I am not as expert re Gedcom as others, but as mentioned above my experience with TMG was that what you have for NOTE being a Gedcom NOTE is correct, it is just that I found when exporting to other programs/websites NOTE was very hit and miss as to how it was treated, whereas I found if I just used my own generated EVENt Tags as described before I had no problem.

When I moved from TMG to FH, although it was with Gedcom file, I did a lot of import testing, going back to TMG to "tidy/change" certain features (TMGUtility was also very helpful), so if you are up to it I still suggest you:

I have looked at the TMG V9 trial and that is certainly a Standard GEDCOM NOTE.
The TMG V9 trial has some Note entries with Sources and you are absolutely correct these Citations are NOT linked to the FH Local Note.
That is an error on the part of the FH TMG Import and should be reported to Calico Pie.

For those interested, one example in the TMG sample database is for Samuel ALEXANDER (33) (1822-1895).
The Note at the bottom dated 11 May 1895 mentions an obituary and has two Sources:
25 Presbyterian Church Minutes
33 Presbyterian Church - letter
Although both Source Records exist in FH and have many correct Citations the Local Note above is missing it Citation.

Also the date 11 May 1895 on the Note is lost in translation and should be reported!!

Well worked out Mike, and I hope there is a fix on the way, but if raywigz does not want to wait for a fix, my "test" might be all he needs, it depends how important a Standard TMG (FH Gedcom?) "Note" is to him. As I mentioned before, there seems to be something none standard re the TMG "note".
