Having recently upgraded my computer from W7 >> W8, I have had to reinstall FH.
I am trying to import a GEDCOM file from FTM and find myself back to the problem I had at the start of this thread in that it wont recognise the images.
Having done a reinstallation I am back to Version 5.0.0 - and as I discovered earlier in this thread, I need to upgrade to version 5.0.9
However, now when I check for updates I am offered version 6, which I don't want to go for at the moment. Is there anyway I can update 5.0.0 >> 5.0.9

Yes, go to the download archive and you can download it from there.
