i have tried to uplaod the image but im not sure it is going to work
it is the woking census for 1851
ho 107 1594 page 7 (i think)
second entry is William Cooke head mar 45 farmer (10 acres) surrey woking
cant read the address
can someone clarify that the wifes name is Hester and would ampton really be hampton
also can someone clarify the birth place for thomas
i have search surrey maps for anything simular and have come unstuck

They're at Sheets just S/W of Knaphill, Sheets Heath on modern maps, and in 1841 they're William & Esther Cook with son John. As I read it in 1851 Hester is born in Compton, John in Ditton and Thomas in Rotherhithe.

I assume as i cant find either of them William and hester that is by 1861 that they have both died but i cant find bdm records on them or variants

Try searching the 1861 census for the other families on that 1851 census page.

Buried at Woking St John the baptist:
24 Nov 1857, Esther Cooke, aged 74
11 Feb 1859, William Cook, aged 56
Could be them... the ages seem a bit out, but if I recall they varied rather on the censuses too, and she certainly seemed somewhat older than him.

Both those deaths are registered in Guildford district, and both with the 'e' on Cooke
