Please have a look at the attached occupation on a marriage certificate - anyone an ideas. Looks like Preventive Service or something - if it is that, what is it?

Hi,
It's almost certainly 'Preventive Service' which is linked to early Customs & Excise. See attached page I found with a number of references to it. Also note date at top of page.

Terry there is a size limit on files uploaded (if it's a full page scan that's probably the problem). How ever you can always upload files to your own hosting or file sharing sites and then put a link in the forum.
