I've received a death certificate which gives a death date of 'On or Before the 9 Jun 1998'.
I have since found out that the person concerned was found after about 2 months. Would you enter this info in the Death Fact ?

Yes, you could use a Date Range such as Before 10 Jun 1998.
The other details could be added as a Note or if you use Source Citations the Source Record could contain a full transcript of the Certificate in Text From Source box and any other info in the Note box. Also you could link an image of the Certificate via a Multimedia Record.

To enter more 'complex' dates and to double check the format, click on the ... button at the end of the date field to get the Date Helper dialog.
