Family Historian User Group

The above named enterprise has been causing much frustration because family tradition has it that their manager absconded with the funds. Having discovered how to search the census by address it transpires that the manager was John Manning Allen who is on the Electoral Register until 1913. It's unclear whether he was the 'Allen' in the title. Can anyone suggest how I might trace the details of his 'crime' assuming the legend is true?
