How would you set up a (lumped) source for this record set?

Personally, I would use Method 1 'split' Sources, because each entry is likely to have a Media image and Text From Source transcript, which gets tricky with Method 2 'lumped' Sources.

From past postings you are quite expert at using FH, so what exactly is your problem with Electoral Register Sources?
Just create a Source record with a Title such as England & Wales, Electoral Registers 1832-1932.

However, Ancestral Sources can be adapted to capture such Electoral Registers using its Census data entry mode.

That works best with Method 1 'split' Sources, and will work with Method 2 'lumped' Sources but the Auto Text gets added to the Text From Source in the Citations or a shared Note record, and Media linked to the Citations or Residence Facts.

In all but a few cases I have opted for the 'lumped' Method 2 source for electoral registers. I decided it wasn't worth keeping images of every single entry I found. This because the information is minimal (it just confirms the names of adults at an address who were eligible to vote - no ages, occupations or relationships) and the number of electoral register entries is potentially huge (far more than censuses which are at 10 year intervals). So I record a date range for which I have found an individual at an address, and in the note field I say that 'Electoral registers for <area> show him/her at this address between these dates'.

Sample Citation details-

Entry Date: from 1924 to 1931
Assessment: Secondary
(possibly Primary - depends how rigorous you are about assessment levels)
Where within Source: Polling District: Cosham. Parish: Widley
(I don't record page numbers as this gets complicated when there are entries in multiple years)
Text from Source:
I usually leave this blank as the source simply repeats the name and address as recorded in the Fact. However occasionally the registers show Land or Buldings in one location and Abode at another location. In this case I transcribe the line, e.g. "Land, Purbrook Heath (Abode - Heath House, Purbrook)"
Note:
Usually blank, because I enter any extra relevant information in the Fact Note. It depends whether you want the extra info to appear in the main body of a report or in the Sources section.
