Don't forget the Wayback!

I just went to look at an article I had linked to on a source to discover the page was gone, the dreaded 404 error.

I tried the normal trick of returning to the home to find it was gone as well.

Finally I hit the wayback extension I have installed on Chrome and got the page that way, it's now safely archived in my Evernote notebook.

The Internet Wayback machine can be found at

Thank you Jane - I would like to think that I hadn't forgotten it but it's always been a touch of a pain to bring up - i.e. you have to remember it, then what its URL is, how to use it, etc. It had never occurred to me that there might be extensions to automate access to it - so I've just found and installed one on Firefox, then tested it on the late, lamented http://www.paul_smith.doctors.org.uk Success!
