Family Historian User Group

Help please.
The image is from the parish register of Newbottle Northants. The marked entry is for the burial of Agnes Dormer wife of Peter Dormer but I need help to determine the date.
I believe it to be 9th June but am unsure of the year. I think it may be 1536 (but I got 1544 from the register transcripts). I think that the year is shown at the top of the page.
Is anyone able to help with this please?

I suspect the Roman Numerals relate to the Regnal Year, e.g. 1545 was "37 Hen. 8" and, as there was no requirement to compile Parish Registers prior to 1538, there shouldn't be any Registers available prior to that year, so the Register page is probably for 1544/45.

Thanks for that Mervyn. 1544 also agrees with the transcript I have seen so I shall go with that.
