Is there any way to run FH on ipad 3 ? If not are there plans for the future ?

There have been many discussions on this both here and and on the Rootsweb mailing list regarding various portable devices. See also https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... pX2c#gid=0 if you fancy looking a a colourful spreadsheet!

iPads are not Windows computers, programs have to specifically written to run on them, so a version of FH to run on an iPad would need to be written from scratch.

You can of course easily use your Family Historian Gedcom on them and there are a selection of existing programs which will allow you to do so, just search here for a selection.
