I've bought this app to run on my iPad. I've downloaded my GEDCOM file without any problems, and imported it into the app, but now I have 9800 or so unrelated individuals! It's not imported any relationship data, nor any media. All other events and notes seen to have come across without any problem. I was hoping to take my iPad to the WDYTYA show next month rather than lug a huge notebook around. I'm not worried about the missing media, but without the relationship links, it's about as good as a chocolate fireguard.

Has anyone else used this app, and experienced similar problems?

I have not tried that app, as I use gedfamilies, but I wonder if it's worth 'striping' the file, as it sounds like the program got stuck on loading the file.

Try using the split file (on your export file) to remove media records, lists etc and see if the program then imports correctly. Try the settings shown in this KB article on preparing a file for Genes Reunited.

Alternatively, try Exporting/Importing the Family Historian Sample Project to see if its relationships, etc transfer OK.
