I have just started trialing a new program called Evidentia http://evidentia.ed4becky.net/.
This program is designed to work alongside traditional software and helps you analyse your sources to ensure you have fully evaluated the information.
A number of well known US genealogists are using this program but for it to be really useful the whole genealogy community should be involved in working with its developer.
There is a 30 day free trial available and the developer has a community on Google+ and would appreciate input from potential users.
If you think this software could be of use to you please give it a go and if you feel able write a review.
This software really makes you think about your research.
