Clooz version 2

I have just listened to the Podcast of an interview with Liz Kerstens discussing Clooz version 2.0.

There is obviously quite a lot of work in setting up the database in the program. Much of the information seemed to me to be including in my Family Historian (v3) records.

Has anyone used the program seriously and found it wirth while?

Not used it myself, although I did download it for a trial. I suspect anyone doing a one name study might find it useful, a you tend to get lots of ungrouped information, but personally I don't think I would use it much.

Since posting my original message I have completed quite a lot of data entry into Clooz. I imported individuals from FH which in Clooz 2 was no real problem; sources also were imported which did need some editing. There is no need for the FH custom Clooz query which had to be used for earlier version of Clooz.
All I have ended up with is a (partial so far) database of my documents. I already had an Excel record of them, which of course was less comprehensive.
Version 2 is certainly an improvement on the program. Clooz may well suit some researchers, I cannot however see myself continuing with Clooz and purchasing the program after the trial period.
Maybe Family Historian is just too adaptable!
