When I was deciding what genealogy software to buy I looked at Demo/Trial versions. I'm not completely sure, but I think at the time there was either a demo or a free trial of Family Historian available. (I bought Family Historian.) As far as I can see the demo/free trial is no longer available. Is this really true? Most other genealogy software offer either demos or free trials. As someone totally committed to FH, I'm personally not going to change, but I'm reluctant to recommend FH unreservedly unless potential users can try it out first, or at least see what it does.

I am sure there is a demo version still.
The FH main site seems to be down at the moment, but I will check again.

There is a link to the V3 Demo version at http://www.fhug.org.uk/cgi-bin/index.cg ... tware&id=1
but the FH site at http://www.family-historian.co.uk does not seem to be working at the moment.
