inclusion of .pdf documents in narrative report

Post by robacis » 20 Mar 2007 12:31

I have been trying to include everything I know about an individual in a narrative report but after tweaking the report for some time realised that the information I wanted to include was a .pdf document. Is there any way to include such documents in a similar way to pictures

If they are single page PDF's I would simply convert them to png or jpg format. If they are muli-page documents, then you may simply need to refer to them and print them separately.

Jane,

It isn't obvious to me how to do this with Acrobat - I have found the snapshot tool which seems to let me make images of bits of a page and then paste into an image editor. Is this the appropriate technique?

That's what I did as I only had a couple to do, but a search for PDF to PNG produces quite a few tools if you have hundreds to do.
