Hi

Can anyone help I have an ancestor Josiah Stinton Who Went to Australia in c1842 on the information posted on IGI it state Quote: arrived per 'Henry' aged 17,a stonemason. my question is what is or was a 'Henry'?

'Henry' was the name of the ship that brought your ancestor to Australia. http://members.iinet.net.au/~perthdps/s ... mig-wa.htm shows that the 'Henry' was in Fremantle, Western Australia in April 1841. I couldn't find the ship arriving in 1842, but I did just a cursory search. If you know which Australian state your ancestor settled in, you should be able to track down the ship's arrival.
