I would first like to say a very big thank you to all contributors to the site. My migration from Legacy has been made painless thanks to your help.  Special thanks to Jane (who doesn’t work for Calico Pie) who I note is still logging on well into the small hours!

I was looking for findmypast’s roots before signing up and parting with my money and I came across this job description “Family Historian - a second phase of this customised piece of family tree software is currently in development”

We have a very friendly relationship with FindMyPast.com, and have worked with them on joint projects in the past.  But we are quite separate companies.  I don't know what the advert refers to exactly ('customised' may be a clue), but FindMyPast.com are not involved in developing FH if that is what you were wondering.
