Guess what i've been given...

Post by tonyt » 12 Sep 2007 16:45

Been wanting a plotter for many reasons over the years, and having got into my family history i've wanted one more than ever...

And i've just been given a Xerox 8825 A0 plotter (and A0 scanner) that's only a few years old and fully working (well it was, see below)

Problem is the printer part weighed in at 600lb+ so i've had to dismantle it to get it home (it's in the garage in bits at the moment)

Hopefully i've taken enough pictures to be able to put it all together again!

Well done - fingers crossed you can get it all together.

Have fun [grin]

Thanks Jane

Don't think i took enough pictures, but each part has a different electrical connector so i can tell roughly where everything goes back from them

I have a huge pile of parts on the dining room floor which fit in to the top 3rd of the printer, and looking at the pile and the printer the word 'tardis' springs to mind
