Hi, I've just joined this site and also a new user to FH3....asking if anyone knows of a user group in Sydney AUST. where I can get 'hands on' help to navigate this programme. Also, I think there is an upgrade I can purchase, is this necessary at this stage? I look forward to hearing from someone. [smile]

Narelle,
I'm afraid I can't help with your query about user groups in Sydney, but with regard to the upgrade to V4 which is due out in February (1) no, it isn't necessary although I suspect you'll want to check out what it offers when it's available, once you've got to grips with version 3 and (2) depending on where and when you purchased the current version, you may be entitled to a free upgrade -- check the info at http://www.fhug.org.uk/cgi-bin/index.cg ... ews&id=157

If you have not already done so you may find the How To's in the Knowledge base useful as they are animated tutorials for some aspects of FH.
You can always ask questions here in the forums if you get stuck.

Thank you for those who have replied to my inquiry. Thanks to Dr. D?W ....
Good to know of other users Downunder!! I have checked out the comment about a new Free Version 4 up grade and waiting on a reply for Gould Geneology here in Aust. I only purchased my Version 3 in November 2008. Thanks again for your help, you are all so helpful. Narelle
