Re: Upgrade discount from V6 to V7 Query

Post by Jonathan_Smith »

I currently have V6.2.7 of Family Historian (Originally started out with V4 and upgraded at every new release). I want to now upgrade to version V7. I’m not sure if I am missing something but Family Historian states that ‘If you have version 6, you are entitled to a 30% discount off the upgrade price for version 7’. However, when I enter my V6 Licence key on the upgrade page it is only giving me a discount of £17.99. Can anyone please advise me if this is correct?

Yes, the full price is £59.95 and 30% is £17.985 so CP are giving you an extra halfpenny.
How much were you expecting?

Please see FHUG KB Upgrading to Family Historian 7 for important advice.

I have no idea what I was thinking of. Must brush up on my maths, and will probably have to put this down to a 'senior moment' or lockdown!!
