I've looked through FAQs, etc, but can't see an obvious answer. Apologies if I've missed something.
I'm soon moving house. The phone has been disconnected so I have no new number, and I will have to set up a new e-mail address with a different provider. Will I be still be able to log in to FHUG with my existing username and password, even though my e-mail address will be different?
My wife has a Gmail account. Would it be sensible to transfer my FHUG membership to that as an interim solution, or is that not necessary?
Many thanks
David Hawkins

Yes you can still log on.Will I be still be able to log in to FHUG with my existing username and password, even though my e-mail address will be different?
To change your email click on your name top right and select User Control Panel and select Profile then Edit Account Settings and change the email address. You will need to re-enter your password and remember to then follow the link in the email you will receive to re-activate your account on the new email.

Re: Changing my e-mail address
David,
Further to Janes reply, it might be worth considering having an e-mail account independant of your provider!
I found this out to my cost after moving from Freeserve, to BT, and all the issue that followed. I now have Yahoo and Gmail accounts, both independant of my broadband supplier, and will hopefully last longer.

Re: Changing my e-mail address
Thanks Jane and Gowermick
Good to know I shall still be able to log in, but very sensible advice about keeping an independent e-mail.
