Webinar

I was looking forward to watching the FH/fmp webinar yesterday but when it came to time to log in all I got was a comletely black page.
I had registered successfully, received the reminder emails and had tested the preview video succesfully. I tried several more times (partly because of the confusion as to whether the webinar started at 4.00 or 4.30) and looked at the on24 FAQs but to no avail.
Did anyone else have problems? Is there going to be a recording available?
I was using the latest version of Firefox on a Windows 10 PC.

Still no link forthcoming, BUT if you click on the link to yesterday's webinar it does start playing from the start.

Not for me - I still get the same black screen using either the original link or the one in the "thank you for attending" email.

Hi jclifford
I too had problems viewing the webinar for the same reasons but have since found I can view it on iPad, not ideal but better than nothing. Have been in touch with Find my Past and Microsoft but neither could resolve the problem. Have you found a solution? Would love to hear it if you have or anyone else for that matter!!

I am wondering whether it is something to do with Adobe Flash Player.
If I right-click on the black screen I get a Flash context menu; I tried clicking on "Play" on this menu and then got a message saying "Movie not loaded".
Thank you for your tip about using your iPad - I have now managed to access the webinar on my Samsung tablet.

Visit
https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and install the latest
Adobe Flash Player,
BUT untick the Optional offers.
Many browsers will block earlier unsafe versions of Flash Player.

I don't think that an old version of Flash is the problem.
Mine was last updated 3 days ago, and my browser cannot be blocking it since it is the Flash plug-in which displays the black screen.
I get the same behaviour with Microsoft Edge as well as with Firefox. I am using Windows 10 64-bit , could that be significant?

I also had the black screen(using internet explorer version 11 on a PC). I simply did a screen refresh (F5) and everything worked fine.
hope this helps
