Hello Newbie Here!
HI, just thought i'd say hello! I've recently taken up the reins again for researching my family tree. I kind of drifted out of it a few years back, but recently got the 'itch' again! Have a new laptop and Family History6 loaded and I'm ready to go. My plan is to pare down the tree a little, keep it a more direct line, it got a little ridiculous the amount of people I had on my old software (which was FTM) several vaguely related distant cousins, and children of those cousins etc... I'm sure you get the gist! So just thought I'd say hi, and im sure I'll be popping on for help and hints!

Hi, welcome to the user group. You will find a lot of knowledgeable and helpful folks here. Do feel free to ask any questions you might have. For a start you should take a look at how_to:key_features_for_newcomers|> Key Features for Newcomers. There is a lot of helpful information there and in the Knowledge Base as a whole.
