Ipad GED file reading.

Post by jsphillips » 13 Mar 2015 10:03

As my Laptop is fairly large and heavy...
I am looking for an app ?? that will read a gedcom file ? For use on my IPAD Air.
This way I can take this to any research areas libraries etc. ??
Thanks

Checkout how_to:family_historian_on_imac_ipad_android_etc#apple_ios|> Family Historian on Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, etc.

Also do a global Search right at the top of this page across all Forums for iPad and you will find plenty of related threads.

You probably found my thread about this. I got the app Heredis in the end. I have no intention of actually using it to record any family history but it is certainly useful enough to take with you as a memory aid at the Archives or library. Importing a very large Gedcom file was easy but I haven't bothered to check if everything is there. Certainly all the individuals and their conections are there, which is enough for my purposes.
