What genealogy program do they have?

Most programs have an Import option to open GEDCOM files.

A friend of mine had good results viewing  GEDCOM files with the program GEDitCOM -- their web site is:

http://geditcom.com/index.html

A useful site for general information and news is http://www.macgenealogy.org/

Let me know if you have any other questions -- I can do some testing on my Mac if needed.

I'm presuming they are running 'Reunion', in which like most decent programs, there is a procedure under, File, Import, where one can import or export a Gedcom file. The other main mac program, heredis, has a similar feature.

I have an iMac and have just checked this.

While I like FH3, I hate Windows and the hassle i have to put up with virus protection, spyware protection etc EVERY year in the PC world.

Apple's products are beautifully designed, pretty much virus free, and with Parallels and similar software, i can happily run FH on the Mac, under Windows

Yes, very nice to run FH under Windows if one has an Intel Mac -- but some of us have older PowerPC Macs instead.
