Hope this isn't a FAQ!
When you create a census entry in GC it automatically allocates the next consecutive number - no problem. What I am experiencing is that if you then enter a new source in FH and then return to GC to enter the next Census record it doesn't recognise the one you have just created in FH.

Just to confirm, a couple of things
Make sure you have saved the file in FH when you add the source and that GC has reloaded the file.

Just to add to Jane's reply... Working with both FH and GC open at the same time works very well but only if you ensure you click save in FH before switching over to GC unless you are 100% certain you haven't changed anything in FH.
