Hi I'm just trialling Family Historian and obviously need the census software to make it viable. Can you tell me where I get it from please? I keep trying the download page but don't know which program I am supposed to download. Tried to download from the 'Version' page but it just gives me a server error. Can anyone tell me how I get this elusive software please?

Go to the Downloads page, select Gedcom, and GedCom Census v6.0.6 is top of the list.

It really is the most wonderful piece of free (!!) software for recording census data in FH.  It will save you hours of data entry time, automagically linking the source to all the people mentioned on the list.  Your adventures with FH will be enhanced and transformed.

That's a very nice thing to say. Would you like a job as my publicist? [smile]

'automagically' - I like that word!

And I would also like to add my thanks to Nick for his fantastic software and recommend it to anyone who hasn't yet downloaded it.

I'm very happy to blow the trumpet for Gedcom Census whenever I can, Nick!  Seriously, I can't imagine using FH without it (no, actually I can imagine it, because I did it at first, and look back in horror and pity!)  GC is the icing and the marzipan on top of FH.
