How does it know???

Not that I am complaining, I am just curious to know how it does it.
How does it know where I have saved the relevant page of the census?
I have various folders with my images in - one for each census year, and without fail, everytime I add on an image it takes me directly to the correct folder, no faffing around with folders and sub-folders everytime.
Love it!

Every time you link an image it records in the registry the folder it was in against the country/year that is currently selected. So next time you have that same country/year selected it opens the same folder. Simple really, but effective!

I love it.
Such a simple idea, but brilliant!
