Nick,

I think there may be a mistake in the Generic Baptism Template. In the line:

Residence Place:

I think the Keyword should be:

{KEYPERSON.RESIDENCE.PLACE} instead of {KEYPERSON.RESIDENCE.ADDRESS}

Yes quite right well spotted - I added this template right at the end of the testing period so testers didn't get much chance to find this one. Easily fixed for next version obviously. And as you've realised, you can fix it yourself

Sorry about that

This correction has been added to the Knowledge Base > FHUG Downloads in the new Ancestral Sources Templates: Baptism Auto-Text page.

I have added some more Baptism templates to the AS Wiki:

See http://www.fhug.org.uk/wiki/doku.php?id ... m_autotext

To add one of these templates to your version of AS 2.0 go to Tools>Autotext Template Editor...

Select Source>Baptism and click New and enter a Title.

Then in the AS Wiki highlight the required text (on the orange background) and copy using CTRL-C (cmd-C on a Mac). Go back to the Autotext template Editor and paste the copied text into the empty box below the Title: using CTRL-V (cmd-V on a Mac). Click Save and then Close.

You can of course play around with these templates and adjust the text to suit your own requirements. For example, you might want to change the text 'Not given', if no Birth date is shown on the register, to something else. Just edit the Template in the Autotext Template Editor.

Be careful to make sure that the Vertical Line in the =IF Function is not deleted before you re-save the template otherwise you will find the function either doesn't work or gives the wrong result. If you do delete it by mistake it is Character 124. On a Windows machine you can insert this character holding down the ALT key and at the same time typing 0124 on the Numeric Keypad. On a Mac use the Character Map App.

Thanks to tatewise for setting up the Wiki page and, of course, to Nick Walker for producing the original versions of the templates.
