....did I not look closer at AS about 5 weeks ago when I started adding serious amounts of information to my tree from census records.

It is soooooo much easier than repeatedly entering data directly to FH records.

The question now is do I continue as is and use AS only for the 1911 records, or do I switch horses mid stream.

Decisions decisions.....ho hum

First, I would change horses mid-stream and then go back to the non-AS entries at a later date to upgrade/update them. I do speak from some experience here as I have entered hundreds of census and baptism records via AS and it really does make life easier.

Second, please don't forget to show your appreciation to Nick for his sterling work on AS by making a donation. That way we will hopefully get another version which includes marriage and death/burial records.

I think you're right - as I come across later census entries, they will go in via AS. I will then amend the existing entries, again via AS, overwriting the existing entry. It will be a lengthy process but will keep me out of mischief.
