All my Census data (and Baptism etc come to that) are in Excel workbooks, one worksheet per Census, each Census field in a separate column, Census references are in the first columns.
Obviously I would prefer not to re-type all this to get it into AS.
Is there an 'import Excel spreadsheet data into AS' mechanism?

Sorry no there isn't. I've never been asked for this feature before as far as I can remember.
You can however, paste the data from your spreadsheet into the source text box at the bottom to provide a transcription.
