Incorrect sizing under Windows 7

Post by johnmorrisoniom » 03 Jan 2012 20:16

A nice 'feature' of W7 is that if a window top bar is dragged fully to left or right, the window should resize to exactly half screen (Regardless of actual screen size). If this is done to two windows it is easy to view them side by side. However AS2 on shrinks to about 55-60%, thus overlapping the other window.
I am using W7 pro 64bit and AS2 64 bit.
Laptop resolution 1600x900

Incorrect sizing under Windows 7

It does work, but the AS main form has a minimum width of 950 so if your monitor has a resolution of over 1900 in width it will 'Aero Snap' (as this feature is called) correctly. I've just had a play with this and it would just about work with a minimum width of 800 so I'll set it to that for the next version, but any less than that and it is unusable.

Thanks for looking anyway.

Is there a timescale for the next version?

When it's ready! Not too long to wait now.

Best wishes
