Ancestral Sources path file for images

Brilliant program have used it for years.
I have come across the following and wonder if it is a known problem.
•The paths to media/image folders that Ancestral Sources remembers are now saved to a file within the project folder - ASProjectOptions.xml file.
I have tried this out as I have many trees working side by side. So far I have found that if you change from one tree to another then you need to rechoose where the image you are linking to is stored. It seems to default to the last known folder.
To make this clearer if I have family tree [a] loaded and point to the folder for the 1841 census it always remembers that next time, but if I now load family tree and now direct this to a different folder for the 1841 census when I reload family [a] it now points to the folder for family tree for the 1841 census.
I have tried removing the stored census details in the registry but this has no effect it just means that when the ASProjectOptions.xml is created it is without the full information that was originally held.
Windows Xp service pack 3
Thanks again for a brilliant program have used it for over 3000 census entries.
