I've just used AS to input and create marriage details from a marriage certificate. In AS options > marriage settings, I've ticked the box under 'Occupation and Residence Facts' that says 'Age in residence and occupation'. However, when AS copies the data over to FH, the age for any occupation entries (as shown in the bride and/or groom's age on the certificate) is not copied over. Instead, FH enters an age in brackets - (27-28), for example. However, the age shown on the certificate is copied over alright for residence and marriage events.
Why isn't AS copying the age, as shown on the certificate, over to occupation events it creates in FH? Is it me, AS or FH?
Thanks
Ed

Age for Occupation
Yes, I can reproduce that symptom, which appears to be an error in AS.
While on this subject, there is a similar Age in residence and occupation option for Baptism settings but I cannot see how the occupation part can ever apply.
The only person given an Age is the individual being Baptised, and their Occupation cannot be entered.
Also Census settings has a Record individual age in occupation option.
I have not checked if this works OK.

Thanks Tatewise. I'm glad it's not just me!
I've just checked a random selection of American census entries I've recently created for various people using AS. All the age entries appear as I would expect them to. Namely, the ages next to FH events (occupation and census) are the same as the ages that have been entered on the census form and therefore input by me. When an occupation or census age contradicts a birth date, it is suffixed with an exclamation mark, just as you would expect.
It would appear that the problem is restricted to occupation event ages when inputting marriage details.
