* error trying to add image to existing source

I am getting an error when I try to add an image to an existing source which has no image.  After clicking on Add/View Images... I get this:



I can't figure out what this means, even after reading the help.  I don't get this error on every source, but I do get it on some of them.  Does this mean I have to have a census fact since I've chosen census in the drop down list for type?

Yes, that appears to be exactly what AS is requiring.
Census Source Record must be linked to a Census Event regardless of what Date it has.

Even being linked to an Occupation Attribute will not do.

Hi Bill

You're getting the message because the source you've selected doesn't have any census facts linked to it. Just because it happens to have the word census in the title of the source doesn't make it a census source. Ancestral Sources considers a census source to be one that is linked to at least one census fact. It needs a census fact so that if you're using image title templates it can work out date, year, etc. This is quite logical I think!

These were old census sources that I created prior to using AS. I'll go back and redo them using AS and then all will be well.
